Require a Chief Accountant in Abu Dhabi

• Manage and reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) reports across all active projects.

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in alignment with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards.

• Prepare and issue progress billing statements to clients in a timely manner.

• Track and administer project retainers, including release timelines and recovery procedures.

• Maintain compliance with VAT regulations and ensure accurate tax reporting.

• Monitor project cash flow and deliver forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting.

• Produce comprehensive financial reports for management, stakeholders, and internal audit.

• Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar financial role.

• In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.

• Demonstrated expertise in WIP calculations and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience with progress billing and retention management.

• Solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
