The Landscape Inspector is responsible for monitoring construction activities, ensuring that landscape and irrigation works meet approved designs and quality standards. This role contributes to project success by maintaining site compliance, accurate documentation, and safe execution of works.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect landscape and irrigation works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Maintain detailed daily records of work activities, site issues, labor, and equipment usage
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure proper execution of work
- Interface with local stakeholders to manage construction impacts
- Arrange material sampling and testing in coordination with quality teams
- Verify line, level, and grading with survey teams for completed works
- Report non-compliance and poor workmanship to the Resident Engineer
- Maintain records for completed works, payments, and as-built documentation
- Monitor contractor activities and document potential claims-related issues
- Enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance with approved safety plans
- Inspect traffic control measures including signage and barricades
- Report site incidents and ensure proper documentation and communication
- Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Landscape, Irrigation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape and irrigation construction supervision
- Strong understanding of construction inspection processes and quality standards
- Experience working on infrastructure or urban development projects
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in site-based environments
- Must be currently based in UAE
