The Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising food quality and quantity, coordinating daily production with the central kitchen, and guiding kitchen teams to deliver safe, consistent, and cost-effective food offerings across hypermarket operations in Dubai.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor portion control and food waste to optimize costs and promote efficient use of materials
- Train and communicate with kitchen staff on products, processes, menus, ingredients, and equipment
- Manage resources including materials, staffing, and equipment to meet production targets
- Propose and implement proactive cost-reduction measures while supporting team communication and escalation
- Schedule, prioritize, and guide team activities to avoid delays or quality issues and accommodate reasonable changes
- Follow guidance from Executive or Sous Chefs and contribute ideas for new presentations or dishes
- Audit food storeroom items to maintain consistent product quality and standards
- Adhere to all applicable systems, procedures, and company policies at all times
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management
- Minimum 3 years of related culinary experience in restaurants or hotels
- Strong knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and preparation techniques
- Effective communication skills with working knowledge of automated kitchen equipment
- Strong delegation, real-time problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Good planning skills with willingness to learn, adapt, and improve
- Work within a large-scale retail and central kitchen environment
- Be part of a structured culinary operation with clear quality standards
