The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryAl Marwan Group is seeking an experienced Contract Engineer / Contract Administrator - Infrastructure to oversee contractual matters across the full lifecycle of major infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role includes pre-contract tendering, contract negotiation, procurement support, post-contract administration, claims, and project close-out, ensuring compliance with contract terms, UAE regulations, and project objectives while minimizing risk and maximizing commercial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract:Analyze ITTs, RFPs, and client contract documents; identify commercial/legal risksSupport bid strategies, pricing models, and contract negotiations (FIDIC and bespoke forms)Develop subcontract procurement strategies and review agreementsEnsure pre-contract compliance with UAE legal and regulatory frameworksPost-Contract:Administer contracts, track correspondence, and manage variations, EoTs, and change ordersAssist in claims submission and defense; liaise with legal teams for dispute resolutionMonitor contractual risks, costs, and advise on mitigation strategiesAdminister subcontracts, resolve disputes, and ensure flow-down complianceMaintain contract registers, risk logs, and support project close-outQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or related field8-10 years of construction contract management experience, including 5+ years in UAE infrastructure projectsProven experience in pre- and post-contract stages for roads, bridges, rail, utilities, and drainage projectsKnowledge of FIDIC Red & Yellow Books (UAE adaptations) and regional contract formsFamiliarity with UAE government authorities (RTA, DEWA, ADSSC, Etihad Rail)Professional memberships like MRICS, MCIArb are advantageousKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong command of contract law, dispute resolution, and commercial negotiationExcellent drafting, analytical, and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines under pressureLeadership and communication skills; coordination of multidisciplinary teamsProactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focusedProficiency in Aconex, Contract Management Systems, MS Office, PrimaveraDesirable AttributesBilingual (English mandatory, Arabic advantageous)Experience collaborating with international and local stakeholdersProven track record on large-scale infrastructure contractsDepartment Construction Locations SharjahContact Talent Acquisition Lead - Recruitment DepartmentAbout Al Marwan GroupFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.Founded in 1978 careersite--jobs--form-overlay#showFormOverlay">Apply for this jobConstruction · SharjahContract Engineer/Administrator (Infrastructure)Loading application form jobs--overlay#closeOverlay">Career site
