As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and manage multiple complex construction projects simultaneously, overseeing all aspects of project execution on site.
Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and schedules to meet client requirements and organizational objectives.
Manage project budgets, forecast costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project partners.
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain the highest standards of construction
Provide regular project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
20+ years of experience in construction supervision project management, with a proven track record of successful large-scale project delivery with contracts experience (Experienced practicing Engineer under the Contract role).
Extensive experience working in the Middle East construction industry, particularly in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and optimize resource allocation
Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
Proven experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder management
Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
