LEAD HSE ENGINEEER - Office & Site Based

• Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Engineering, preferably with an advanced professional degree in HSE Management. IOSH,NEBOSH,OSHA Certifications.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects with exposure to various aspects for HSE Management ) with minimum 5 years (preferred) in GCC Region.
• Must have at least five years of experience in Similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Manage team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.

• Assist with investigating incidents and accidents to ensure the timely production of corrective and preventative action plans.
• Responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager.
• Developing and establishing systems, procedures and standards for effective implementation Project in line with international best practices, Local Regulations and Company s HSE Policy, Philosophy and requirements for HSE engineering.
• Review and approve EPC Contractor s / Engineering Consultant s / Study Consultant s work and ensure compliance with UZ1.2MMBD Project including project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy and best practices.
• Review and project specific Risk Management Systems and criteria.
• Participate in Safety Reviews such as PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PHSERs, Layout Safety Reviews, 3D HSE Reviews, constructability reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
• Review / guide engineering in design risk assessments / studies / reports (i.e. PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, FERA, QRA, EEERA, Blast Overpressures Studies, Dropped Objects Studies, PHSERs, SIMOPS, etc.).
• Review deliverables related to Technical Safety (HSE) developed by EPC Contractors / Specialist Study Consultants, etc. including philosophies, data sheets, specifications, layouts, close out reports, detailed drawings, etc. pertaining to Risk Management Systems, safety systems, safety equipment, PPE
