- Leading the BeWunder Finance team in the Middle East
- You will be responsible for financial accounting and the proper execution of accounts receivable, accounts payable and investment accounting, including payment transactions
- You will take responsibility for the local closing processes
- First point of contact for issues related to accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Bank postings
- Being accountable for the preparation of monthly financial statements and managing internal reporting tasks.
- Posting accruals and deferrals
- Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- You will work together with our tax advisor on annual financial statements and will be responsible for the year-end audit with our external auditors
- Correspondence with internal and external contacts
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics (or in a similar area)
- Must have knowledge of accounting according to IFRS (HGB is a plus)
- Structured and strategic approach to finance topics in relation to the business of the organization
- Previous experience being responsible for the year-end audit
- Extensive experience in Bookkeeping
- Confident user of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus
- Good IT skills related to ERP implementations
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a team
