You will shape shaping the product's technical direction and have the freedom to iterate on features. You won't just be building out figmas, but pushing back constructively on designs or requirements, as someone who understand the challenges of digitizine complex workflows.   • Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Next.js (with TypeScript).
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take features from concept and design (Figma) through implementation (frontend and backend) to production deployment and monitoring.
  • Technical Leadership: Grow into the top technical leader of the company, making key decisions on timelines, resources, and product development.
  • Build Core Features: Implement key platform functionalities, including user authentication, investment workflows, data management, secondary market features, and integrations with third-party services.
  • Frontend Excellence: Craft intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces based on Figma designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Backend Logic & APIs: Develop robust backend services, APIs, and database schemas to support platform functionality.
  • DevOps Awareness: Understand and participate in the deployment process, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and be comfortable working within a cloud environment (GCP). Willingness to learn and contribute to improving DevOps practices is key.
  • Collaboration & Product Input: Work closely with product management, design, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical feasibility insights, and proactively contribute to product definition.
Requirements
  • Experienced Full Stack Engineer: You have 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in web dev, and 2 years with a non-javascript framework (golang, C++, python, etc).
  • Next.js Expertise: Proven hands-on experience building production applications using Next.js and its ecosystem.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Strong command of modern React, and experience building complex, responsive UIs from Figma designs. Tailwind experience is a plus.
  • Backend Skills: Solid experience building backend services and APIs, working with databases, and understanding RESTful principles.
  • DevOps Fundamentals: You understand the basics of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud deployment. You're not necessarily a DevOps expert but are comfortable with deployment processes and eager to learn more.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ownership & Initiative: You thrive in environments where you can take ownership of your work from start to finish. You are proactive in your work, independently finding tasks that add value. Startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Experienced Leadership: Experience leading an engineering team to deliver products.
