About UAE Expo OfficeThe UAE Expo Office, established in 2022, was created to showcase the UAE’s approach to bringing together people and innovation to address global challenges through participation in World Expos.The ambition of the UAE Expo Office is to create unforgettable experiences designed to accelerate progress, contribute to Expo goals, and generate unique value for the UAE.Job SummaryThe Project Manager - PMO plays a central coordination role in supporting the planning, delivery, and monitoring of the UAE’s participation in upcoming Expos.Reporting to the Head of PMO, the role supports program planning, governance, reporting, procurement coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered in line with the UAE Expo Office’s strategic objectives and governance frameworks.This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills and the ability to work across internal teams, external consultants, and international stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ControlSupport development and maintenance of integrated project plans, schedules, and program milestonesCoordinate planning across internal streams including Strategy, Communications, Programming, Operations and FinanceMonitor project progress across scope, schedule, cost, quality and riskMaintain project tracking tools and provide accurate project status reportingGovernance & ReportingSupport implementation of PMO governance frameworks and reporting structuresMaintain project documentation, approvals, and decision recordsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and executive reportsDevelop and maintain project templates, tools and reporting formatsProcurement & Contract AdministrationAssist with preparation of RFPs, scopes of work, evaluation materials and contractsCoordinate procurement processes and maintain procurement registersTrack consultant deliverables, contract variations, and obligationsMaintain supplier and consultant engagement recordsRisk & Issue ManagementIdentify and track project risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation plansMaintain project risk registersTrack action items and corrective measures to ensure resolutionStakeholder CoordinationLiaise with internal teams, consultants, Expo organizers and international partnersOrganize project meetings, workshops and coordination sessionsPrepare meeting minutes, action trackers and follow-up documentationSupport stakeholder presentations and project updatesPerformance & Quality AssuranceSupport implementation of quality management and project assurance processesMonitor program performance indicators and delivery milestonesMaintain structured documentation and record keepingContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMOEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.5-7 years of experience in project management, PMO coordination, or program managementExperience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder programs such as government initiatives, international events, infrastructure projects, or cultural program is highly desirable.Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent is preferred.Prior experience working in the UAE within international organizations is advantageous.Experience working in multicultural and international environments is advantageousFamiliarity with World Expos, pavilion delivery programs, or international events is an advantageFluency in English and Arabic.Skills and AbilitiesStrong understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworksExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder coordination and collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work in complex, multidisciplinary environmentsMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similarWillingness to travel internationally when requiredAt Yosh Hospitality, our recruitment department stands as a beacon of excellence in sourcing top-tier talent for the luxury hospitality sector and beyond.
