This position plays a vital role in strengthening neurointerventional services by managing critical neurological cases, enhancing stroke response systems, and contributing to improved patient outcomes through advanced endovascular techniques.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of neurointerventional procedures including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and vascular stenting
  • Analyze and interpret advanced imaging such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide expert consultations for neurovascular disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in emergency stroke care and neurointerventional on-call rotations
  • Work closely with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency, and critical care teams for coordinated patient management
  • Support development of clinical protocols, pathways, and service improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
  • Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and allied healthcare staff
Ideal Profile
  • Medical Degree (MD or MBBS) from a recognized institution
  • Board Certification in Radiology from an accredited body
  • Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
  • Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice
  • Eligibility for DOH or HAAD consultant licensure
  • Proven expertise in neurovascular and stroke intervention procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English with Arabic considered an advantage
