This position plays a vital role in strengthening neurointerventional services by managing critical neurological cases, enhancing stroke response systems, and contributing to improved patient outcomes through advanced endovascular techniques.Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of neurointerventional procedures including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and vascular stenting
- Analyze and interpret advanced imaging such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide expert consultations for neurovascular disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in emergency stroke care and neurointerventional on-call rotations
- Work closely with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency, and critical care teams for coordinated patient management
- Support development of clinical protocols, pathways, and service improvement initiatives
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
- Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and allied healthcare staff
- Medical Degree (MD or MBBS) from a recognized institution
- Board Certification in Radiology from an accredited body
- Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
- Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice
- Eligibility for DOH or HAAD consultant licensure
- Proven expertise in neurovascular and stroke intervention procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English with Arabic considered an advantage
- Neurointerventional and endovascular procedures
