The QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical works and installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and oversight of electrical systems during construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects.Key Responsibilities:Review project specifications, drawings, and electrical codes to ensure compliance.
Develop and implement quality control procedures specific to electrical systems.
Conduct inspections and tests on electrical installations, equipment, and components.
Monitor ongoing electrical work to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Identify and document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical standards and regulations.
Participate in project meetings to provide QA/QC updates and feedback.
Assist in the validation and qualification of electrical systems and equipment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in QA/QC for electrical systems, ideally in construction or manufacturing.
Knowledge of electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
Familiarity with testing tools and inspection techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certifications such as NABCEP, ISO standards, or equivalent are a plus.
