Role PurposeProvide reliable day-to-day accounting and finance support for each property entity and the head office, ensuring accurate books, timely reporting, and clear visibility of cash.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting
  • Post accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and journals for property SPVs and the holding company.
  • Maintain the fixed-asset register and run monthly depreciation.
  • Reconcile all bank, client, and control accounts each month.
Month-End Close & Reporting
  • Close the ledgers and produce property-level and consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements.
  • Prepare management reports with variance explanations for senior management and investors.
Cash & Treasury
  • Monitor daily cash positions and update short-term cash-flow forecasts.
  • Arrange supplier payments, loan drawdowns/repayments, and interest calculations.
  • Track lender covenants and upcoming funding requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasts
  • Coordinate annual budgets with the asset-management and property-management teams.
  • Maintain a rolling 12-month forecast and highlight funding gaps or cost overruns.
Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, service-charge reconciliations, and corporation-tax information packs.
  • Support the year-end audit, providing schedules and responding to auditor queries.
Stakeholder Support
  • Act as the finance point of contact for lenders, auditors, property managers, and internal departments.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial data and analysis when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (or equivalent). (preferred)
  • 3-5 years' accounting experience, ideally in real estate, property management, or audit.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with property software is an advantage.
