- Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of pediatric dermatological conditions, including:
- Atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo
- Vascular anomalies and birthmarks
- Genetic and autoimmune skin disorders
- Infectious, inflammatory, and rare pediatric skin diseases
- Perform advanced dermatologic procedures such as:
- Pediatric laser therapies
- Dermoscopy and skin biopsies
- Cryotherapy and minor surgical procedures
- Management of complex hemangiomas and congenital lesions
- Provide evidence‑based treatment plans and long‑term disease management strategies.
- Offer specialized consultations for neonatal dermatology and multidisciplinary cases.
- Lead the pediatric dermatology unit and contribute to strategic planning for service expansion.
- Develop clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, allergists, geneticists, and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
- Mentor junior dermatologists, residents, and nursing staff.
- Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly and compassionately to parents and caregivers.
- Provide education on preventive skin care, chronic disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure a child‑friendly, supportive clinical environment.
- Participate in clinical research, case studies, and publications.
- Deliver teaching sessions for medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
- Represent the department in conferences, CME programs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification in Dermatology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent).
- Fellowship training or substantial experience in Pediatric Dermatology.
- Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice.
- Eligibility for (DOH) consultant licensure.
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dermatologic procedures and complex case management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
