- Prepare detailed pipeline design drawings including:
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Isometrics
- Routing layouts
- Alignment sheets
- Develop and review 3D models using tools such as:
- AutoCAD
- PDMS / AVEVA E3D
- Coordinate with:
- Pipeline engineers
- Structural and mechanical teams
- Offshore installation teams
- Ensure compliance with:
- ADNOC standards
- International codes (e.g., American Society of Mechanical Engineers standards, American Petroleum Institutecodes)
- Perform clash detection and design optimization within 3D models
- Support material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials preparation
- Review vendor drawings and contractor submissions
- Assist in site surveys and offshore design verification when required
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Pipeline Engineering or Drafting / Design Technology
- 10-15 years of experience in pipeline design
- Minimum 5+ years in offshore oil & gas projects
- Prior experience on ADNOC or Middle East offshore projects is highly preferred
- Strong expertise in:
- Offshore pipeline routing and layout
- Subsea / topside interface design
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- AVEVA E3D / PDMS
- Navisworks
- Knowledge of:
- Pipeline stress considerations
- Corrosion protection and coating systems
- Offshore installation methods (S-lay, J-lay)
