We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) to lead and optimize our high-volume production lines. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Fuji SMT equipment and possess advanced proficiency in Fuji Nexim software to ensure seamless programming, machine efficiency, and superior output quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSMT Line Management: Oversee the end-to-end operation of Fuji SMT lines, ensuring maximum uptime, optimal feeder setup, and high-speed component placement accuracy.Programming & Optimization: Develop, debug, and optimize machine programs using Fuji Nexim. Perform offline programming and library management for new components.Process Improvement: Analyze production data to reduce cycle times and minimize "downtime." Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies to enhance yield and reduce scrap.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform advanced troubleshooting on Fuji pick-and-place machines. Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment longevity.New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to transition new products into mass production, defining SMT process parameters and thermal profiles.Quality Assurance: Monitor Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) results to ensure all assemblies meet IPC standards.Required Technical Skills & QualificationsSMT Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Fuji SMT line operations (e.g., NXT or AIMEX series).Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Fuji Nexim for production planning, programming, and line balancing.Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of IPC-A-610 standards and SMT processes (stencil printing, reflow soldering, and component placement).Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex mechanical or software-related placement errors.
