The Student Ac�vi�es Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing student life at AUD by developing and implemen�ng
student ac�vi�es, advising the Student Government Associa�on (SGA), coordina�ng student clubs, and planning
university-wide events. This role fosters student engagement, leadership, and a strong sense of community.
This posi�on also includes responsibili�es specific to AUD's Summer Camp Program, including ac�vity planning, logis�cs
coordina�on, outreach for sponsorships and ac�va�ons, and supervising student ac�vity programs. Flexibility is
essen�al, as the role requires occasional evening and weekend hours, par�cularly during the summer camp and other
peak periods of student ac�vity.Principal Responsibili�es
  • Coordinate major university-wide events such as New Student and Visi�ng Student Orienta�on, Interna�onal
Night, Gala Dinner, SGA Forums, and SGA Elec�ons.
  • Organize and implement on- and off-campus extracurricular events and trips for students.
  • Plan and coordinate ac�vi�es and logis�cs for the annual AUD Summer Camp, including:
o
Designing engaging ac�vi�es and workshops for par�cipants.
o
Reques�ng quota�ons for campus ac�va�ons and ac�vi�es.
o
Securing sponsorships and partnerships with external organiza�ons.
  • Supervise and support evening and weekend student events, especial y during the Summer Camp week and
other peak student ac�vity periods.
  • Advise and support the SGA and student clubs in their daily opera�ons, ini�a�ves, and event planning.
  • Maintain updated rosters of student club members and student organiza�ons.
  • Track individual and club par�cipa�on in campus events.
  • Manage the student ac�vi�es sec�on of the AUD website.
  • Ensure �mely submission of reports required by the Office of Student Services.
  • Organize and chaperone student trips.
Administra�ve and Opera�onal Du�es
  • Process Co-Curricular Transcript requests.
  • Coordinate event booking logis�cs and space setup.
  • Prepare and provide content for social media posts related to student ac�vi�es.
  • Schedule mee�ngs for SGA, student clubs, and peer advisor teams.
  • Dra� and send campus-wide announcements and event no�fica�ons.
  • Maintain and distribute the weekly Student Affairs events calendar.
  • Request and fol ow up on quota�ons for student life events and services.
  • Monitor event planning �melines and meet al deadlines.
  • Assist with execu�on and fol ow-up for on- and off-campus ac�va�ons and events.
  • Manage club updates, including advisors, members, and branding.
  • Organize SGA Townhal s and mee�ngs with the Dean of Student Affairs and the President.
  • Support the SGA elec�on process and peer advisor recruitment each semester.
  • Assign Peer Advisors to new students.
  • Liaise with the Graduate SGA and provide necessary support.

  • Strong event management, marke�ng, and public rela�ons abili�es.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage mul�ple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong �me management and organiza�onal skil s.
  • Intercultural competence and sensi�vity to diverse student popula�ons.
  • Crea�ve and student-centered approach to programming.
  • Proficiency in Microso� Office and related digital tools.
  • Wil ingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Essen�al Qualifica�ons
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in event coordina�on and student engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and writen communica�on skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work col abora�vely with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours during peak periods (e.g., summer camp, major events).
  • Computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifica�ons
  • Prior experience in higher educa�on, student affairs, or student ac�vi�es.
