- Conducts and supervises classroom training for B737 NG and MAX operator conversion, command upgrade and recurrent training (Evidence Based Training – EBT) courses under flydubai AOC.
- Conducts and supervises B737 type rating training course (including Instrument Pilot Procedures Training) under flydubai ATO.
- Conducts and supervises special operations trainings as required for Flight Operations, e.g. Extended Range Operations With Two- Engines (ETOPS)’, ‘Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM)’, ‘Low Visibility’, ‘Performance-Based Navigation (PBN)’, ‘Upset Prevention’ and ‘Recovery Training (UPRT)’, etc.
- Conducts ‘Dangerous Goods Initial/Recurrent’ Training and assessment for Flight crew and operations staff.
- Conducts and accomplishes the ‘Pre-Departure Inspection’ training for flight crew.
- Conducts tailored training for external customers based on their requirements.
- Collaborates with other instructors and operational staff to ensure that training content reflects the latest updates in regulations, technology, and industry best practices.
- Emphasizes safety and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout all training sessions.
- Assists in development of training modules and materials for ground training courses for classroom and eLearning platform.
- Assists and monitors completion of ‘Computer Based Training (CBT)’ and eLearning modules on flydubai’s ‘Learning Management System (LMS)’.
- Supports flight crew in addressing technical queries and issues related to the LMS.
- Manages training devices (iPads) for trainees and 3rd party training service providers.
- Maintains accurate records of training activities, progress, and certifications for auditing and regulatory purposes on Electronic Flight Operations System (EFOS), Microsoft SharePoint and other record keeping platforms.
- Monitors and evaluates student performance, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Dispatches regular training reports and session feedback to Line Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Fluent in English
- Airline experience in Flight operations or Maintenance
- B737 Aircraft type qualification (preferred), MS Office, eLearning software (Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360)
- 7 - 9 years
- Train the Trainer
- Engineering or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) / Ground technical instructor approval from the authority / Flight Dispatcher license
