- Implement the company's Government Affairs strategy across MEA,
- Identify and liaise with key stakeholders from government, civil society, and patient organizations,
- Provide the commercial leadership with relevant intelligence and strategic advice on (health) political developments in the cluster.
- serve as an interface between governmental bodies/organizations and the company,
- plan and execute public affairs and stakeholder outreach activities,
- advise the leadership on political developments of strategic importance,
- develop health policy drafts and lead the development of Memorandums of Understanding,
- manage consultants (where appropriate).
- Experience in managing Government/Public Affairs projects in the Middle East/Africa region and/or in selected markets there.
- Min. 7 years of experience in Government/Public Affairs, either in-house or through consulting.
- Fluent Arabic and English (verbal and written), other regional languages would be advantageous.
- Master's degree in either of the following (or equivalent): Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Law, Politics, International Relations, Public Health.
- An outstanding communicator, as partially complex communication and negotiation will be required with both internal and external stakeholders .
- An innovative thinker who can leverage their expertise and experience in the region by informing strategy.
- An inclusive team player who is well-versed in collaborating with various teams and departments.
