- Support the Urbanism & Planning team in applying digital tools such as GIS, BIM, and parametric/3D modeling to enhance project analysis, visualization, and delivery.
- Assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing spatial and non-spatial datasets to support planning and design decisions.
- Develop digital outputs including maps, dashboards, 3D models, and other visualizations used in project presentations and stakeholder communications.
- Contribute to digital workflow development to improve project efficiency, data quality, and team collaboration.
- Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, and technical specialists to integrate digital capabilities into multidisciplinary project workflows.
- Provide junior-level technical support for digital tools and help troubleshoot basic software issues.
- Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning activities to build digital and urban planning capabilities.
- Stay informed about emerging digital tools and technologies relevant to urbanism, planning, sustainability, and smart cities.
- UAE National with a Family Book (mandatory in line with Emiratisation and UAE labor requirements).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS), BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks), and/or parametric modeling tools (Rhino, Grasshopper).
- Basic programming or data skills (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript) and exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in applying data-driven and digital methods to urban planning challenges.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and learn from senior specialists.
- Demonstrated interest in urbanism, sustainability, digital innovation, and the future of cities.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and readiness to grow in a fast-paced digital planning environment.
