
Head of Product (Finance) - B2B Marketplace, SC Ventures

- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all financial products on the platform
- Translate lending workflows into intuitive digital experiences for SMEs
- Lead end-to-end delivery in partnership with engineering, design, and third-party vendors
- Build the integration layer between the platform and financial institutions
- Work with credit, risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure frameworks meet regulatory requirements
- Design modular, scalable systems to support multiple financing partners and products
- Measure and drive product adoption, financing volume, repayment behavior, and unit economics
- Serve as the internal expert on financial user journeys (credit application, scoring, disbursement, repayment)
- A financing layer embedded within the B2B marketplace, including but not limited to:
- Request for financing workflow integrated into the buyer experience to help SMEs access credit
- Loan aggregator infrastructure to match businesses with third-party lenders
- Credit scoring and decisioning logic using marketplace behavior and external data to assess SME risk profiles
- Digital onboarding and verification flows for financing applicants
- Tracking, settlement, and repayment tools for all financing activities
- APIs and dashboards for lender integrations, performance tracking and compliance visibility
- Seamless integration with below but not limited to:
- Lenders (banks, NBFCs, fintechs, alternative financiers)
- Credit bureaus and KYC/AML providers
- SCV Internal portfolio companies
- 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, lending
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling financial products - particularly lending, embedded finance, or credit systems
- Network and experience working with banks, aggregators, or alternative lenders
- Strong user-centric approach with an ability to simplify complex financial workflows
- Experience in the UAE or MENA region and familiarity with regional SME behavior and financial infrastructure
- Ability to move fast, think strategically, and operate in ambiguity
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and platform
