- Lead and mentor the chapter of product and technology engineers; foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Establish and govern engineering standards, coding practices, design patterns, and architectural blueprints across web, mobile, back-end, and API layers.
- Partner with the Director, IT Architecture & Engineering to translate architectural vision into executable engineering strategies.
- Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning; manage performance reviews, career development, and workforce capacity for all direct and indirect reports.
- Define and maintain engineering frameworks and reference architectures for front-end (web/mobile), back-end services, and API ecosystems using industry best practices.
- Own the CI/CD strategy end-to-end – design, implement, and continuously improve automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to accelerate time-to-market.
- Establish and govern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled infrastructure provisioning.
- Drive the Bank’s cloud adoption strategy across private and public cloud environments; define landing zones, workload migration paths, and cloud-native development standards.
- Lead Kubernetes adoption and container orchestration strategy; define standards for containerized workloads, service mesh, observability, and auto-scaling.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools that enhance engineering productivity, code quality, and platform resilience.
