1.Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, considering factors such as budget, timeline, and resources.
2.Site Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough site inspections to evaluate site conditions, assess potential risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
3.Design Review: Review and analyze engineering designs and blueprints to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements and specifications.
4.Construction Management: Oversee construction activities on-site, including earthwork, grading, utility installation, and structural construction, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards.
5.Material Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure construction materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
6.Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality assurance measures to monitor construction processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality workmanship and materials.
7.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
8.Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and deviations from the project plan.
9.Cost Management: Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures or efficiencies.Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility preferred.
3.Proven experience in civil engineering project management, preferably in a site-based role.
4.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
5.Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools.
6.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
7.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
