This position plays a vital role in managing pediatric ENT conditions, improving surgical outcomes, and enhancing overall patient care quality. The role contributes to multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical excellence, and the development of pediatric otolaryngology services within the hospital.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired ENT conditions in pediatric patients
- Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, and sinus surgery
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as audiograms, CT scans, and MRI imaging
- Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, and pediatricians for integrated care
- Provide consultations and second opinions for complex pediatric ENT cases
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in line with clinical standards
- Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings, and continuous education programs
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students
- Medical degree with specialization in Otolaryngology
- Fellowship or board certification in Pediatric ENT preferred
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric ENT care
- Strong surgical expertise in pediatric procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Western-trained candidates preferred
