Our client, a multinational home appliances manufacturer is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to be based in Dubai.Objective of the position:
  • Demand supply chain activities of the designated agents
  • Responsible for complete Order cycle starting from enquiry from the customer till securing payment.
  • Co ordination with HQ and Factories to ensure on time production and deliveries.
  • Coordination with shipping and forwarding companies overseas and locally for securing timely shipments.
  • Demand planning and stock management
  • Providing shipping documents to customers according to the country requirements.
  • Responsible for issuing credit notes for Spare parts.
  • Keeping high level customer satisfaction with good relation ship.
  • Retain defined benchmark of Supply chain dept.
Communication links:INTERNALSupply chain manager - For meetings or discussion about special matters related jobs as and when required. Daily jobs related matters.Warehouse in charge - About inbound and outbound shipments and loading plans.Marketing department - About product queries, product releases, test reports etc.Accounts department - To check about the payment situation of customers and take approvals before loading, giving details of L/C documents.Sales Department - About order and delivery related topics.PRO - To collect or deliver documents locally.IT department - To get reports, ERP support, solving any problems in the systems.After sales department - General after sales and spare parts related topics.EXTERNALDistributors - Communication related to orders, shipments, availability, etc.. Periodical orders reports and answering any query from customers.Forwarders and shipping lines - To get the B/L and shipping informationHQ and Factories - Plan and follow up of on time shipment of orders, documents, check stock availability, container load size clarification of any shipments issues etc,.Factory and planners - Demand planning, follow up on production dates, stock availability of products, etc.Quality and inspection agencies - To arrange pre shipment inspection globally.Dubai chamber of commerce / MOH / Consulates - Preparation of certificate of origins and legalization of shipping documents.WORKS COUNCILInternal and External Auditors - To provide required documents and clarify any queries as and when required.Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certification course in international Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Diploma in computer applications
  • 5- 7 years of experience in Logistics and Supply chain management.
  • MS Office, ERP Softwares (SAP), Reporting tools (SALA).
  • Local and GCC customs and other regulations.
  • VAT regulations.
  • SAP – Sales, Logistics and Supply chain modules.
