Senior Contracts and Claims Director - Achieve Group - Dubai, UAE

• Lead contract administration from pre-contract negotiations through project close-out
• Advise senior management on contractual obligations, risk exposure, and mitigation strategies
• Oversee claims management including EOTs, variations, prolongation, disruption, and loss and expense claims
• Develop defence and dispute avoidance strategies aligned with commercial objectives
• Establish and manage project control systems covering programme compliance and commercial risk
• Review contractor programmes, monitor progress, and implement recovery plans when required
• Manage RFC, RFI, and change control processes while assessing contractual and commercial impacts
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with legal counsel, consultants, clients, and contractors on dispute and claims matters
• Provide leadership and training to project teams on contracts and claims awareness

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 12 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and local industry practices
• Proven experience handling EOT, prolongation, disruption, and complex consultancy claims
• Experience in healthcare construction projects is advantageous
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities
