- Responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the database systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application database issues.
- Perform health check on Databases and database servers.
- Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 13c
- Experience in Backup and recovery concepts, including RM
- Experience in Oracle DB install, configure, implement 12c19c, Oracle RAC 12c/19c
- Experience in Oracle Database upgrade to 19c
- Experience in Oracle Database Patching (RUP, CPU), Cloning
- Expert level database design, development and administration skills.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery options and tools.
- Expert knowledge of managing automatic storage management.
- Experience in Oracle backup and recovery strategies and ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
- Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex database performance issues.
- Proactively in capacity planning and performance tuning of the Databases.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks and work with relevant parties to resolve them, or escalate them to the project/application management team.
- Support data migration, application cloning, patch analysis and deployment.
- Able to administer, manage and tune high-transaction and decision support Standalone/RAC production server environment(s).
- Able to understand and meet the needs of end-users.
- Able to work with multiple tasks/projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often changing environment.
