The Land Surveyor is responsible for executing field survey activities and ensuring that all measurements meet project specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining construction accuracy, reducing errors, and supporting safe and efficient infrastructure development.Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and technical documents related to survey work
- Perform land surveys and geodetic calculations for bridge and infrastructure projects
- Supervise survey activities and coordinate with contractors and project teams
- Verify survey requirements and ensure accuracy of field data
- Check setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure compliance and protection
- Prepare field sketches and maintain detailed records of survey data and calculations
- Measure completed works and support progress verification
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings for completed works
- Follow site safety procedures and actively participate in safety initiatives
- Coordinate survey activities to meet project timelines and budgets
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in bridges and infrastructure projects
- Experience working with consultancy firms in UAE preferred
- Strong knowledge of total station, GPS, and survey data collection tools
- Familiarity with CAD and survey software systems
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work efficiently in site-based environments
