The Land Surveyor is responsible for performing field surveys, verifying project layouts, and supporting construction teams with accurate measurements and data. This role plays a key part in ensuring project accuracy, minimizing errors, and maintaining compliance with engineering standards.Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and technical documents related to survey activities
- Perform land surveys and geodetic calculations for infrastructure projects
- Supervise survey works and coordinate with site teams and contractors
- Verify project requirements and ensure survey accuracy on site
- Check setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection and compliance
- Prepare field sketches and maintain detailed survey records and calculations
- Measure completed work and assist in progress tracking when required
- Support preparation of as-built drawings for completed works
- Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives
- Coordinate with project teams to complete survey activities within timelines and budgets
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure and landscape projects
- Experience working with consultancy firms in the region preferred
- Strong knowledge of survey equipment including total station, GPS, and data collectors
- Familiarity with CAD and survey software tools
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in site-based environments
