Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
  • Manage shift handover procedures, including log reviews, vessel documentation, and calculation records.
  • Coordinate vessel arrivals, berthing schedules, and communication with Vessel Agents, Masters, PPA, and Jetty personnel.
  • Verify pre-arrival information such as vessel configuration, ETA, ballast condition, and cargo plans.
  • Prepare loading and discharge arrangements, finalize with the vessel Master, and ensure compliance with terminal safety regulations.
  • Supervise sampling, tank cleanliness inspections, and ballast discharge approvals.
  • Monitor loading/discharge progress, advise Oil Movements on stop dips, and prevent contamination or cargo degradation.
  • Maintain shipping logs, statements of facts, and skeleton shipping documents throughout operations.
  • Calculate and verify fiscal quantities in coordination with third-party inspectors.
  • Prepare commercial shipping documents, including Bunker Supply and Ballast receipts, and ensure accuracy of quality certificates.
  • Board vessels to secure Master's signatures, resolve discrepancies, and issue departure clearance.
  • Distribute documentation to agents, customs, marketing, and accounts.
  • Compile daily onshore crude reception and jetty status reports for ADCO and Oil Accounts.
Ideal Profile
  • Completion of secondary education plus a 3-year diploma in shipping or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in shipping operations, oil movements, and marine accounting in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency with computer-based marine information systems.
  • Strong command of English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy.
