  • Monitor HSE inspections, compliance, and performance to ensure operations meet ADNOC standards.
  • Review inspection reports and technical feedback to align support across projects, operations, and quality functions.
  • Participate in high-impact inspections related to equipment installation, asset operations, and shutdown/start-up activities.
  • Act as a key contact for HSE management systems and ADNOC Codes of Practice, ensuring effective communication with plant personnel.
  • Recommend preventive maintenance programs to ensure safety equipment remains operational.
  • Develop plant safety programs, inspection checklists, and hazardous area instructions to identify unsafe conditions and corrective actions.
  • Lead and support HSE initiatives including HSE Impact Assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessments, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Conduct and facilitate HSE training, drills, and awareness sessions to build team preparedness.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze accidents, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support HSE project implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience, including at least 3 years as an HSE or Safety Engineer.
  • Strong background in HSE project implementation, inspection, incident investigation, and training.
  • Hands-on expertise with risk assessment tools such as TRA, HAZID, HAZOP, PSSR, and HSEIA.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, NIOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RC, or ISO 27000 are preferred.
  • Skilled in preparing HSE reports, conducting audits, and liaising with civil defence, contractors, and external auditors.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
