Date Posted: 2026-01-22Country: United Arab EmiratesLocation: Otis L.L.C, 37th floor, The One Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab EmiratesJr. Project Engineer – Installation plays a key role in supporting the execution of elevator installation projects while ensuring compliance with Otis standards, safety policies, timelines, and customer expectations. The role requires hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage site-level activities efficiently.Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution & Site Management

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing installation activities for elevators as per Otis procedures and project timelines.
Supervise installation teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and high-quality execution at the site.
Review installation drawings, technical documents, and material requirements prior to commencement of work.
Monitor daily site progress and prepare regular progress reports for the Project Manager.

2. Quality & Safety Compliance

Implement Otis safety standards and ensure all site personnel follow safety regulations.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
Carry out quality checks during various stages of installation to ensure adherence to Otis quality protocols.

3. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, logistics, and quality to ensure seamless project execution.
Liaise with customers, consultants, and main contractors regarding site readiness, technical issues, and progress updates.
Attend project meetings and provide accurate technical inputs when required.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site installation documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and safety records.
Support the handover process by ensuring all installation activities are completed, tested, and certified as required.
Assist in resolving site-based technical issues and escalating complex issues to senior engineers or project managers.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation, preferably with a leading elevator company.
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical installation practices related to vertical transportation systems.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety practices, and local regulations.

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation schematics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for site coordination.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, reporting tools).
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Work Environment

Primarily site-based role requiring daily presence at project sites.
Occasional travel between multiple installation sites as required.
