- Lead and manage the BIM scope for airport-related civil infrastructure (grading, roads, utilities and associated works) using Civil 3D as the core platform.
- Develop, implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), standards and workflows for the project, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal procedures.
- Set up, coordinate and maintain Civil 3D models (surfaces, corridors, profiles, grading, road alignments, utilities) to the required LOD and data quality.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (designers, engineers, project managers, contractors, client representatives) to ensure timely and accurate model updates and information flow.
- Oversee clash detection, model coordination and issue resolution for civil infrastructure elements, working closely with design and site teams.
- Ensure that shop drawings and as-built drawings are generated from coordinated BIM models in line with project standards.
- Support project planning, phasing and constructability reviews through model-based coordination and reporting as required.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and technical support to BIM/CAD staff working on the project’s infrastructure scope.
- Prepare and participate in client and stakeholder reviews, including technical presentations and model walk-throughs where needed.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure design and BIM, including substantial hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Proven track record as a BIM Manager or senior BIM lead on large infrastructure projects (e.g. highways, major roads, platforms, airside/landsides, utilities).
- Deep understanding of Civil 3D workflows for grading, roads and civil infrastructure (surfaces, corridors, earthworks, profiles, alignment design, utilities).
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, execution planning, LOD requirements and model coordination processes.
- Familiarity with industry-standard collaboration and coordination tools (e.g. Navisworks, CDE platforms) is an advantage.
- Airport project experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for infrastructure and BIM, with a strong desire to deliver high-quality, coordinated digital outputs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the BIM function confidently in client interviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
- Long-term orientation and commitment to seeing major projects through their full lifecycle.
- This is a long-term role aligned with a multi-year airport infrastructure programme.
