- Lead the strategic development and daily management of Early Years.
- Oversee curriculum planning, delivery and assessment across the phase.
- Monitor pupil progress and ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
- Line manage and support Early Years staff, including performance management and professional development.
- Promote a positive team culture and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Lead safeguarding within Early Years and support pupil wellbeing.
- Manage the Early Years budget and resources effectively.
- Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
- Support transition into and out of Early Years.
- Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with KHDA, BSO and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven leadership experience in Early Years or Primary.
- Strong understanding of the British curriculum and inspection frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; further qualifications desirable.
