Job Title: Chief AccountantJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage accounting teams, maintain financial integrity, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports
Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Assist management in financial planning and decision-making

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as a Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong leadership and team management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA)
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA
Experience in financial audits and tax compliance
Familiarity with ERP systems
