Senior Drainage Engineer - Stormwater Design

• Design and develop drainage systems for civil and transportation infrastructure projects
• Perform detailed hydrological and hydraulic analysis using advanced modeling tools
• Deliver stormwater management solutions including piped networks and drainage structures
• Lead hydraulic system design tailored to site-specific environmental conditions
• Apply sustainable drainage design principles and water-sensitive engineering practices
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation
• Review and validate engineering drawings, models, and specifications
• Coordinate with BIM, CAD, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while supporting team development
• Manage multiple projects and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct flood analysis and drainage network modeling using specialized software

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Hydrology, or Water Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drainage and stormwater engineering projects
• At least 6 years experience in UAE or GCC infrastructure design projects
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage system design
• Experience using software such as SWMM, HEC RAS, HEC HMS, InfoWorks ICM
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD tools including ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation
• Ability to independently manage complex design tasks and produce detailed reports
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward certification preferred
