Senior Drainage Engineer - Stormwater Design

• Design drainage systems for civil and transport infrastructure projects including stormwater networks and surface water management
• Perform detailed hydrological and hydraulic analysis using industry-standard modeling tools
• Develop stormwater quality systems including piped networks and major drainage structures
• Deliver hydraulic and system design solutions tailored to site-specific requirements
• Apply principles of hydrology, hydraulics, and sustainable drainage design in project execution
• Lead design reviews, technical reporting, and engineering calculations
• Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate engineers within the team
• Coordinate with CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling teams for integrated design delivery
• Manage client relationships, lead design approvals, and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Support innovation through value engineering and adoption of digital design workflows
• Handle multiple projects and ensure delivery within defined timelines

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering
• Master's degree in Water Engineering or Hydrology is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years of experience in water engineering and stormwater drainage design
• Strong experience in GCC or regional infrastructure projects is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic design principles
• Chartered Engineer status or progress towards professional certification is preferred
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

• Proficiency in SWMM, HEC RAS, HEC HMS, and Infoworks ICM
• Experience with GIS tools such as ArcMap
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation
• Ability to perform complex engineering calculations and modeling
• Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems and water-sensitive design
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, VBA, or Dynamo is an advantage
