- Develop and update contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with government regulations
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle (initiation, execution, amendments, claims, closure, extensions)
- Ensure compliance with government contracting laws and regulations
- Monitor contract implementation and ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and obligations
- Identify and manage contractual risks and violations in coordination with relevant departments
- Coordinate with legal teams on corrective actions and dispute resolution
- Oversee supplier performance management and ensure deliverables meet contractual standards
- Manage and update supplier databases, including qualification and evaluation processes
- Handle supplier complaints and ensure proper resolution
- Support tendering processes including bid evaluation, cost estimation, and market analysis
- Ensure alignment of bids and proposals with technical and contractual requirements
- Participate in awarding contracts in compliance with policies
- Oversee contract management within ERP systems, including payments and tracking
- Maintain and manage contract documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
- Provide periodic performance and risk reports with recommendations
- Develop standardized contract templates and frameworks
- Contribute to organizational excellence, innovation, and process improvements
- Support strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Provide input to Finance for budget preparation
- Monitor contract-related expenditures and report variances
- Recommend corrective financial actions where needed
- Lead and manage the contracts team
- Set objectives and monitor team performance
- Identify training needs and support employee development
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Business Administration
- Procurement / Contracts Management
- Risk Management or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of government contracts and procurement laws (Dubai Law No. 6 of 1997 and amendments)
