Civil Inspector Roads Infrastructure Dubai UAE is responsible for inspecting site works, verifying contractor performance, and ensuring that all construction activities meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards for infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements for full project understanding
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
- Perform site inspections and supervise infrastructure and road works execution
- Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site progress
- Liaise with contractors to ensure proper resource management and site coordination
- Prepare daily reports covering inspections, work progress, and material deliveries
- Implement site instructions issued by Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer
- Apply and enforce quality control procedures and inspection protocols
- Conduct site measurements and verify pipe alignments and levels
- Coordinate with client representatives during site inspections
- Monitor QA QC activities and maintain relevant documentation
- Assist in preparing technical correspondence and project documentation
- Identify site issues and support timely resolution with engineering teams
- Monitor commissioning, testing, and handover activities
- Maintain records of material tests, inspections, and project milestones
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with contract documents and approved plans
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure and road projects
- At least 3 years of UAE project experience preferred
- Familiarity with RTA standards and approvals is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of construction inspection and quality assurance practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good coordination and reporting skills
- Understanding of health and safety standards in construction environments
