The Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist is responsible for delivering high-level diagnostic and therapeutic neuro-interventional care, ensuring precision in procedures, improving patient outcomes, and supporting multidisciplinary clinical excellence.Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and vascular stenting
- Interpret complex neuroimaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA
- Provide consultation for inpatient and outpatient neurovascular cases
- Participate in emergency stroke and neuro-interventional on-call services
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, ICU, and emergency teams for integrated patient care
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, pathways, and quality initiatives
- Lead multidisciplinary discussions and neurovascular case reviews
- Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technical staff
- Communicate treatment plans, procedural risks, and outcomes clearly to patients and families
- Participate in clinical research, academic teaching, and professional conferences
- Medical degree with specialization in Radiology
- Board certification in Radiology from a recognized institution
- Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
- Minimum 8-10 years of consultant-level experience
- Eligibility for DOH or equivalent UAE licensing authority
- Proven expertise in complex neuro-interventional procedures
- Strong leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
