- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess the overall health status of newborns
- Diagnose and manage neonatal conditions including respiratory disorders, infections, prematurity-related complications, and congenital anomalies
- Prescribe and monitor appropriate treatments and medications
- Oversee growth, development, and nutritional plans for neonatal patients
- Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and allied healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide guidance and education to parents on neonatal care, nutrition, and follow-up needs
- Support, train, and mentor junior medical staff and participate in educational programs
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and regulatory standards
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Consultant Neonatologist
- Current eligibility or licensure to practice in Saudi Arabia
- Western training or education in a recognized healthcare system
- Strong expertise in neonatal intensive care and newborn medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage
