Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to: Local Sales Operations Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate, execute, and optimize end‑to‑end logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely flow of goods. This role supports daily coordination with the planning and fulfilment team, transportation, inbound/outbound execution, Trade and compliance, documentation, and inventory control activities, while maintaining high service levels and operational accuracy.The work model for the role is: {onsite}This role is contributing to the {Electrification} in {UAE}.You will be mainly accountable for:

All Trade Compliance & Regulatory Control process
Own day-to-day execution of trade compliance activities in line with ABB and UAE/GCC regulations
Ensure correct HS classification, country of origin, and documentation before shipment execution
Coordinate closely with Local trade & compliance officer on vendor qualification (SAP Ariba), restricted party checks, and audit requirements
Act as the checkpoint to prevent non-compliant shipments from being released
Handling all Customs Clearance & Authority Coordination
Lead all interactions with UAE customs and relevant authorities to ensure smooth import/export clearance
Proactively resolve clearance issues, inspections, duty disputes, and documentation queries
Attend customs meetings when required and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting operations
Drive faster clearance cycles to avoid storage, demurrage, and delivery delays
Make sure of Documentation Accuracy & Control
Ensure timely execution of inbound and outbound shipments in line with customer commitments
supports the selection process of forwarders and customs brokers. Collaborates with the warehouse team or 3PL (third-party logistics provider) to verify that all relevant processes for unloading/loading are in place, controlled and documented. Help to ensure continuous review and improvement.
Manage daily operations with freight forwarders and transport providers
Monitor performance, cost, and service levels against agreed KPIs
Handling all Issue Resolution & Claims Handling, responsible of Inbound Control & Discrepancy Management
Performance Tracking & Cost Control
Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
Stakeholder Coordination (Internal Execution Focus)
Local Compliance & Permits Management

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor or higher Degree in Supply chain
Minimum 5-7 years in logistics company or logistics department
Strong knowledge of GCC customs law, Export and import Trade rules
Contract review experience
Process oriented, focused on standardization, streamlining and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
A self-starter, meticulous, a good team player and able to work independently
Supply chain fundamentals
Excellent Analytical, presentation and Computational Skills & Business acumen
SAP basis + SAP Ariba preferably
Advanced Excel, Power point, Power BI or a similar BI tool will be a plus
