- Coordinate end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring smooth order placement and execution for Hilti distributors
- Serve as primary logistics interface between Distributors, Hilti HQ Export team, Freight Forwarders, and logistics suppliers
- Support distributors with product availability requests, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination
- Ensure timely provision of export documentation (invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, test reports, etc.)
- Coordinate mandatory inspections and Letter of Credit requirements for specific countries
- Handle complaints, implement root cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Hilti's Code of Conduct
- Screen new projects, confirm supply feasibilities of opportunities, and participate in capture teams for large-scale projects
- Create supply and logistics concepts incorporating input from Materials Management, Prefabrication, Transport, and Warehouse
- Perform logistics cost calculations (LOD) and support bidding/proposal phases with comprehensive planning
- Collect and validate bills of materials, identify bottleneck materials, and ensure availability
- Gather customer-specific logistics requirements (labelling, packaging, delivery schedules, unloading procedures, timing)
- Coordinate execution of logistics concepts, managing inbound/outbound logistics and supply coordination
- Act as operational contact for customers on delivery planning and jobsite logistics
- Manage project changes (design modifications, BOM updates, delivery adjustments) and handle escalations
- Ensure accurate order entry, on-site delivery, and CCN management
- Utilize lean management tools and methodologies to resolve root cause issues
- Implement global standards and drive initiatives for cost productivity, efficiency, and service improvements
- Promote operational excellence culture
- 3-5 years in international logistics and/or project business
- Track record managing multiple cross-country projects with competing priorities
- Supply/demand planning experience (preferred)
- Background in Import/Export operations (preferred)
- Excellent English (written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint proficiency
- Strong analytical skills for creating cross-country logistics concepts
- Experience with logistics management systems and ERP platforms (SAP is preferred)
