  • ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
FUNCTIONAL
  • Implement procurement strategy, policies, processes, and controls in alignment with group strategy
  • Collaborate with department/ section heads to review and update the annual procurement plan
  • Conduct regular demand and logistics planning in alignment with inventory and stock management for the entity
  • Manage daily procurement activities, such as, purchase orders, payment certificates, agreements call-off/release, custom clearance, variation orders and vendor supplier contracts
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions of contract while maximizing value addition through enhanced scope of work, realization of cost savings, optimization and mitigation of foreseen commercial risks
  • Implement vendor classification framework and registration of suppliers
  • Maintain strategic supplier relationships and report on their performance
  • Responsible for the maintenance of storeroom, performing activities, such as, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records and purchasing
  • Conduct compliance reviews to ensure adherence to procurement law and procurement manual, address major findings and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Support periodic benchmarking studies with similar organizations to identify and recommend best practices for cost optimization and in procurement
MANAGERIALStrategic Planning
  • Maintain awareness on the strategy planning process
  • Maintain knowledge on new and existing KPI requirements as an individual employee
Corporate Performance Management
  • Achieve the goals/objectives of the entity/ department /section
ORGANIZATIONALGovernance
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to the policies, processes, and guidelines
  • Participate in the periodic audit of the established policies and processes
Management Reporting
  • Support the development of periodic reports, as requested
  • Highlight any quality or non-compliance issues observed during the development of periodic reports
Change Management
  • Support the execution of change management activities in the department/section
