Inclusion Teacher/Flourish Teacher/ Inclusion Support Teacher

• Plan and deliver individualized and differentiated Mathematics and English lessons to the students who attend flourish classes.
• Assess individual student needs and create individualized education plans (IEPs) or accommodation plans to address their unique learning requirements.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities or learning differences within the general education classroom, adapting instructional strategies and materials as needed.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes understanding, respect, and acceptance of students' diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify and differentiate curriculum content, instructional techniques, and assessment methods to ensure equitable access to learning for all students.
• Support students' social-emotional development by providing guidance, counseling, and fostering positive relationships within the inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to create a strong partnership focused on meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities or learning differences.
• Utilize assistive technology and specialised instructional tools to enhance student's learning experiences and facilitate their participation in the general education curriculum.
• Monitor and document student progress, collect data, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and Inclusion leads to inform instructional decision-making.
• Support and guide teachers to practise quality first teaching in order to implement the provision for all learners.
• Collaboratively work with all members of the department to enhance the quality of the inclusion department across the school.
