This role acts as a center of excellence for structured trade and commodity finance within First Abu Dhabi Bank. The position supports coverage teams in delivering tailored financial solutions, manages global trade transactions, and ensures strong risk management while contributing to the bank's strategic growth in transaction banking.Key Responsibilities
- Originate and structure complex trade finance solutions for corporate and institutional clients
- Manage end-to-end execution of structured trade and commodity finance transactions
- Develop and commercialize structured trade products aligned with market demand
- Collaborate with relationship managers to identify and execute trade finance opportunities
- Structure financing solutions including inventory financing, borrowing base, and prepayment facilities
- Monitor transaction performance and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with credit, risk, legal, and compliance teams for transaction approvals
- Engage with external stakeholders including clients, banks, and consultants
- Prepare term sheets, credit proposals, and documentation for complex deals
- Drive revenue targets and optimize risk-adjusted returns on assets
- Identify market trends and enhance product offerings to maintain competitive advantage
- Represent the bank in industry events and strengthen market presence
- Develop client account plans to grow structured trade business and market share
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in transaction banking with strong expertise in structured trade and commodity finance
- Proven experience in deal origination, structuring, and client relationship management
- Strong understanding of trade finance products, risk frameworks, and global markets
- Ability to manage complex transactions independently in a matrix environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
