  • Providing specialized technical support to consultants and experts working in the department/section in various fields related to tax operations at the emirate and national levels, in accordance with approved guidelines.
  • Developing processes related to government entities registering for taxes and preparing periodic reports on these processes, in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to implementing necessary amendments to work systems and procedures related to the section or the work of government entities within the tax group relevant to the job's area of ​​expertise.
  • Identifying financial systems affected by federal taxes, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Tax Authority, and drafting the necessary amendments to the tax group in accordance with tax legislation, regulations, and bylaws.
  • Submitting proposals aimed at developing tax collection processes of all types, in accordance with approved legislation and the timeframes specified in this regard, by collecting and classifying the data and information necessary to develop tax processes according to the best internationally recognized practices in this field.
  • Implementing all procedures related to applying the provisions of tax legislation, policies, and circulars at the Dubai government level, in accordance with the approved guidelines of the office in this regard.
  • Preparing and reviewing draft reports of statements related to the collection of due tax revenues and the processes related to tax collection and refunds. Settlements in coordination with relevant authorities
  • Compiling and analyzing data related to consolidated tax returns from members of the tax group and reconciling them with government financial records on a preliminary basis
  • Preparing and reviewing the consolidated tax return with the direct supervisor within the specified timeframe and according to the approved guidelines
  • Conducting initial audits of tax reports, statements, settlements, and tax receivables reports for the Government of Dubai, and identifying any discrepancies with government financial records
  • Coordinating operations related to the implementation of the plan to review and audit tax reports, statements, settlements, and tax receivables reports for the Government of Dubai for government entities within the tax group, and participating in field visits
  • Studying and conducting initial reviews of tax reports submitted by government entities, verifying their compliance with tax legislation, and following up on the correction of any related deviations
  • Continuously working to ensure the proper application of applicable tax legislation by government entities within the tax group
  • Compiling and analyzing data related to the preparation of consolidated financial reports on the results of tax audits and reviews, and providing data related to studying their impact on tax refunds and voluntary disclosure reports for the tax group • Classifying tax returns after receiving them from members of the tax group and conducting the necessary reconciliations in coordination with the relevant team.
  • Reviewing the requirements for implementing the registration processes for government entities for taxes and amending the tax group registration for the Dubai Government's Department of Finance.
  • Actively participating in specialized work teams and committees at the department and government levels, as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Continuously monitoring and staying informed about developments in the specialized field related to improving tax processes, and submitting proposals to enhance work procedures.
  • Any other tasks or duties related to the nature of the work, as assigned.
