Supervise installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment within plant facilities.
Develop and review preventive maintenance plans and schedules for rotating machinery.
Prepare task lists and maintenance programs to ensure reliable equipment performance.
Provide technical guidance for resolving recurring equipment issues and chronic failures.
Evaluate major repair requirements and spare parts replacements to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Participate in risk assessments and develop recommendations for operational risk mitigation.
Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate procurement and inventory management activities.
Develop proposals for spare parts stocking and manage spare parts inventory control.
Prepare maintenance procedures and method statements for new operational activities.
Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdown activities across plant operations.
Provide technical support during design, implementation, and commissioning of new mechanical systems.
Prepare plant change requests and evaluate proposed modifications to mechanical systems.
Participate in HAZOP reviews and Safety Integrity Level validation meetings.
Investigate major rotating equipment failures and recommend corrective solutions.
Participate in root cause analysis investigations for mechanical incidents.Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance and engineering of rotating equipment within large industrial facilities.
Extensive experience working with pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards, maintenance procedures, and reliability engineering practices.
Experience planning shutdown maintenance and coordinating cross-functional maintenance activities.
Familiarity with international engineering standards for rotating equipment design and maintenance.
Experience preparing specifications for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of rotating equipment.
