Job DescriptionThe job holder is responsible to install, administrate and maintain Intel based server infrastructure including Windows Operating System, virtual infrastructure, Clusters and hardware as well as Administration of Infrastructure applications, managing high availability and security in accordance with bank’s IT quality & security policy and regulations.Install, configure and monitor the server hardware, operating systems, virtual infrastructure and cluster Systems.Analyses, diagnoses, and resolves problems associated with server hardware, operating systems,Coordinates with vendor software or hardware support to resolve system problems.Designs, implements, and maintains OS security and access to restrict and block unauthorized access to servers and services.Manage Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Site and Services and Group policies.Administration of Microsoft Exchange servers, Black Berry Services, Enterprise vault, BlackBerry and Email Security Gateways.Manage and Administration of VMware virtualized infrastructure and underline hardware including planning, deployment, monitoring and optimization.Maintains and upgrades servers, hardware, infrastructure software, operating systems, virtual infrastructure and clusters.Administrate and maintain file Servers.Provide technical support services as expected by end users as per SLA.Manage users and access privileges and administration of HP open view softwareManage Windows Security and Critical patching.Analyze and verify the requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and as per the standards.Identifying and analyzing processes, procedures, work practice and document them for standard operations.Participating in Project meetings to discuss project/ tasks status, any related concerns, remediation and other.Performing project management for projects directly manage by System Admin team.Working as a team member with different project teams, technical teams and IT architecture team to formulate and document project architectural requirements. Identifying, investigating and analyzing processes and procedure for clear system specifications, design and development of Systems.Recording and maintaining inventory for servers’ infrastructure and licenses.Taking responsibilities of implementation of Solutions and Systems along with test plans to ensure quality and integrity of the solution.Providing support and liaising with different IT sections for a service continuity/business continuity with disaster recovery availability based on the Bank’s policy.Providing audit, IS and QA queries input, closure and evidences in coordination with IT QA team in a timely manner.All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.Competencies/SkillsEducationMinimum Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or equivalentWork ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years of experience.
