The Consultant Hematologist is responsible for delivering advanced diagnostic and treatment services for hematologic conditions in Abu Dhabi UAE. This Consultant Hematologist role involves managing both benign and malignant disorders while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Core Duties
- Diagnose and manage hematologic conditions including anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and clotting disorders
- Oversee bone marrow biopsies, transfusion protocols, and chemotherapy treatments
- Collaborate with oncology, pathology, and radiology teams for integrated care
- Provide consultation services for inpatient and outpatient cases
- Participate in tumor boards, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options
- Contribute to teaching programs and continuous medical education activities
- Board certification in Hematology from a recognized institution
- Eligibility for DOH HAAD licensing in Abu Dhabi
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- Strong expertise in benign and malignant hematologic disorders
- Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and high-performance environments
