The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryAl Marwan Developments is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer - Heavy Machinery to oversee electrical systems, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment across various project sites. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical components in construction machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer - Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucksDiagnose complex electrical faults and provide effective technical solutionsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systemsAnalyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliabilityEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company proceduresReview and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentationCoordinate with mechanical teams, workshop staff, and site personnel for maintenance activitiesSupervise electricians and technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of workMaintain accurate reports, maintenance records, and technical documentationSupport procurement by specifying electrical components and spare partsAttend major breakdowns and provide technical guidance for quick resolutionPerform ad-hoc tasks as required to support operational efficiencyRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field4-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components in heavy equipmentAbility to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issuesProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematicsFamiliarity with maintenance planning and asset management systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsGood communication and leadership abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and reporting toolsKnowledge of safety standards and best practicesUAE driving license is an advantageFlexible, proactive, and able to work across different locations as requiredDepartment Workshop - Heavy Machinery Locations SharjahContact Talent Acquisition Officer - Recruitment DepartmentAbout Al Marwan GroupFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.Founded in 1978 careersite--jobs--form-overlay#showFormOverlay">Apply for this job jobs--overlay#unobserveClickOutside common--modal:closed-
